The Grey & Simcoe Foresters Regimental Pipes and Drums are based in Barrie, Ontario. The band, made up of serving military, retired and civilian members, is an active part of the local community engaging in parades, military, and regional events.

The role of the Pipe and Drums is to provide musical support to the Regiment in both Garrisons, Barrie and Owen Sound. Additionally the Pipes and Drums provide musical support on ceremonial occasions to other Military units and Cadet Corps.

Pipe band performances promote the military ethos, high morale, esprit de corps, and thus foster operational effectiveness. The Pipe Band are also a very effective element of the community outreach program, designed to enhance relations with the civilian community, making Canadians aware of the Canadian Armed Forces and the Foresters.
